Grown in a tropical region known as the Cerrado, the dry-processed, the lightly roasted Brazilian beans yield a nutty, lower-acidity brew with subtle notes of cocoa and fig. The Ugandan beans, on the other hand, hail from the rugged slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, where they grow alongside Nile streams at 900 - 1200 above sea level. Once harvested, they’re wet-processed and given a medium roast, which brings out their natural sweetness and wine-like acidity, plus rich notes of chocolate and cedar — a perfect complement to their lighter, sweeter Brazilian counterparts.
